1966 Triumph T120R Fuel Tank

Offering an original 1966 Triumph fuel tank that came off a TR6 motorcycle. This fuel tank is in good-used condition.

The external condition is in overall nice shape. However, the bike was found with this paint job, which is NOT original to the Triumph.

The external shape is very good! There is one dent that has been sanded down in the past on the top-left!

The threaded bores for the grill rack, are in good condition and so are the 4 chrome screws!

The fuel cap is also in good shape, and the fuel cap collar is dent/damage-free.

The inside shows light rust, which could be removed with some vinegar solution. Nothing major! You can tap all around the fuel tank and it’s a solid tank!!

The underside shows brazed areas, presumably from a fuel leak in the past. The underside is NOT rotted out, still firm and solid.

Overall this fuel tank will need work, and a new paint job to be brought back to original condition.
