Welcome to the Workshop Rebuild Blog - Restorations & Rebuilds

Welcome to the Workshop Rebuild blog;
the place where machines get a second life and every bolt tells a story. If you’ve ever been captivated by the inner workings of a vintage motor or the satisfying precision of a full rebuild, you’re in the right place.
Who We Are
At Workshop Rebuild, we're focused on restoring and rebuilding motor vehicles to factory specifications — if not better. Our work is often centered around the sub-assemblies of larger projects: engines, transmissions, final drives, carburetors, and other vital systems that require deep mechanical understanding and care.
We go beyond just swapping parts. Sometimes we source NOS (New Old Stock) components, and other times we machine them from raw materials ourselves — always with the goal of matching (or exceeding) the original quality.
Our Motto
“Rebuilding with purpose, precision, and pride."
That’s not just a philosophy — it’s how we work. Every project that rolls into our workshop is an opportunity to dive deep into engineering history and bring it roaring back to life
The YouTube Channel
To share this journey with more enthusiasts, we started the Workshop Rebuild YouTube Channel.
There, you’ll find:
-
Detailed rebuilds
-
Restoration tips
-
Satisfying time-lapses of mechanical disassembly and assembly
-
A behind-the-scenes look at how we bring vintage machines back from the brink
Why This Blog Exists
The blog is our way of going deeper. While YouTube is great for visuals and process, this space lets us:
-
Share detailed breakdowns of projects, in words and by sharing pictures
-
Provide build notes and resources
-
Highlight tools, parts, or techniques that don’t make it into videos
-
Reflect on the learning and legacy behind every rebuild
We’re here to document, inspire, and maybe even teach something along the way.
What’s Next
We’ve got some exciting projects in the pipeline! From a rare motorcycle restoration, to shop updates and even more rebuilds waiting to be launched — and we’ll be documenting every step along the way, both here and on YouTube.
This blog will become your go-to space for expanded insights, build stories, technical deep-dives, and maybe even the occasional shop-floor philosophy.
Whether you're wrenching in your own garage or just love watching old machines come back to life, we’re glad you’re here.
Stay tuned — the next chapter of the Workshop Rebuild story is just getting started.
